IT STARTED AS AN OBSESSION
I createad Bubble Love because I'm obsessed with bubble tea. After living and working in SE China for 9+ years, learning Mandarin, and drinking bubble tea daily, I decided to open up a little shop when we moved to Nashville in 2016. While there are many ways to make a good bubble tea, we've perfected our recipes according to what we love about SE Asian style bubble tea.
Now, I travel the US and countries in Asia to try the latest trends and keep up with the creativity happening in the bubble tea industry. It’s no wonder people are switching to tea as the new beverage of choice. With so much history mixed with variety, you can’t get a more meaningful beverage than that.
So let us introduce you to the flavors we love and thrill you with something new. We never stand still around here, there are too many fun combinations and toppings to mix!
It started outside with just a table, tea brewers and a boba pot
We got our start at the Nashville Farmers’ Market
We moved back to the states in 2014 and I was home with little babies for a while. During that time, I looked high and low in Nashville for the bubbly drink I had learned to rely on in China. Without any luck, I started making it at home. Once I had perfected the recipe, I decided to take it to the people and see if other Nashvilians were as desperate for the stuff as I was. We took a chance and opened a spot at the Nashville Farmers' Market on weekends only.
